Until further notice, per the recommendation of the Ohio Department of Health, we are asking all patients and visitors arrive to our office in their own face mask. We have a limited supply of PPE and are unable to offer them to patients.
As you know, this is an unprecedented time for all of us. Our physicians would like to reassure our patients that we are fully committed to continuing to meet your healthcare needs, while also doing our very best to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Allergy/Immunology Associates is committed to flattening the curve of COVID-19. Here is what we are doing:
As always, we appreciate the opportunity to participate in your healthcare and again, we are committed to taking care of our patients and doing our part to help flatten the curve of this pandemic. We encourage you to reach out to our office should you have any additional questions or concerns.
In an effort to increase social distancing and add an extra measure to decrease transmission of COVID-19, effective Saturday, April 4th, all Saturday allergy injections will be by appointment only. Patients will need to call in advance to schedule their allergy injections, if they wish to have them during Saturday hours until further notice.
For patients that come for their allergy injections Monday-Friday, please note that in order to meet recommendations regarding social distancing, we can only allow a safe number of patients in our waiting room at one time. You may be asked to return to your car to wait for the next opening. A member of our staff will call you when it is safe for you to come in for your shot.
We appreciate your patience as we try our best to continue your medical care, while also doing what we can to protect your health and the health of our staff members.
Our office is currently implementing a new Virtual Doc (Telemedicine) system for patients as an added convenience for some sick, routine, and/or follow-up visits. This service allows us to continue to serve and care for some of our patients' healthcare needs, without the need for them to report to our office for a visit. This service is especially important during this phase of the COVID-19 pandemic as it can help us manage your routine care, while potentially limiting exposure to this and other illnesses. Please call our office at (216) 381-3333 to determine if your visit qualifies as being eligible for this service.
Please be aware that our office is currently not able to test for, nor treat the Coronavirus. If you are experiencing ANY of the symptoms below or can answer yes to any of the questions below, please do not report to our office.
Please call the Ohio Department of Health dedicated COVID-19 hotline at 1-833-4ASKODH (1-833-427-5634) for advice on steps to take.
